I've been participating in the super blitz tournaments since Sunday but it's unbelievably laggy since. There's no different on the time of the game I keep losing entire seconds per move (moves don't get registered for 10 seconds sometimes);
Is there a way to ensure less lag on the platform?
I've tested my speed and I get 18ms ping with OKish speed.

Why do my premoves take at least 0.5 seconds each?
I believe that premoved moves should not take any time off my clock.

Every time I see that lag page I'm disappointed that Lichess devs have apparently given up on making light move faster. Typical French defeatism.
Sometimes I lose up to 10s per move even if it says my ping is fine, but w/e, its not like online chess matters much, I think it just sucks for the opponent to have to put up with someone that's around his rating but losing on time.
People who live in France have a huge advantage in hyper bullet games against people who live in far away places such as Canada.
My ping is normally around 35-40ms. And in the following game (as white) I'm losing exactly this amount of time when premoving.

my issue is that when I'm not playing there's no lag but in those fast games it spikes up to 300 ms (thanks for the link on lag)
