Why doesnt knight+pawn endgame count as draw

@Toadofsky

no because my goal in those games was to run the opponent out of time, but my goal in the previous game was to get a draw, your comparison is invalid
I couldn't find my first thread that's why

"Posting #11 is ridiculous, right.
"

no it's not ridiculous; if your entire goal for a game is to run the opponent out of time then that is a valid win, but if your goal is to get a draw you won't be playing on time but trying to destroy material as fast as possible; two entirely different sittuations which if you had any honesty would admit so
Don‘t blame the rules you previously agreed to: why didn’t you take the knight in move 53 on two different ways?

Play with increment! But I know where the problem is: then you cannot „flag“ your opponent’s in the reversed case.
The "goal" makes no difference. If you flag, you flag, and if your opponent could conceivably mate you with the material on the board, even ridiculous, you lose.

Them's the rules
funny how the rules only apply to amateurish sites like this and not real professional play, i guess you people are just fine with being amateurs then

have a good one
No, the same happens if Carlsen is playing Karjakin in the WCH.

Remember Josh Friedel losing R vs. N without pawns in good ol‘ Germany at a high decorated tournament?

The question is who is the amateur though.
