Everything you want to know about Lichess v2

This is absolutely hideous in my opinion, you took a wonderful interface and ruined it. Everything is too big now to the point where it's a pain to read anything and the page looks crowded and disorganized. At least give us the option to size things (other than the board) down ourselves or something. It's still better than chess.com I guess, but this is so much worse. The fonts are annoyingly huge in forum posts and a once simple and elegant homepage looks cluttered now. Please find a way to fix the mobile issues that doesn't affect how lichess looks on PC. It used to be absolutely perfect and now it just looks bad. Can we have the option to view lichess as V1?

EDIT: going to rewrite in a more useful way this with more site related details and less irritation.

i'm playing chess mostly on a small laptop with low resolution, and the fact that the board got smaller while everything around it got bigger doesn't help

I think that proportions on this version have been broken(I use google-browser),
I suggest You- be able to set the previous version for time to improved v2 lichess.org,
everything is in "beautifull mess" in interface and no proportion in this moment

People explain this is an update? If so, what is not convenient? And you can somehow return the previous version?

I see you've already addressed this in the FAQ, but I want to emphasise that it's way too big. I tried chess.com for the first time today, but I wasn't fond of the UI. I'd rather continue playing here; is there anything I can do on my end to fix the size issue?

I think this was a long needed update, and I believe there will be minor changes, but well done, congratulations on the work. In terms of design, I believe there is room for some aesthetical updates (not a big fan of all the drop shadows for example), but that's a matter of tweaking.

I am using an Iphone 7 and its native safari browser (v 11 something)

As you will see on the sreen shot, I can't see my clock, only the clock of my opponent. On my entire screen, it doesn't fit really. And if I look at the discussion on the top, the clock disapear from my view and I have to scroll again to the bottom.

To be fair, the site looks great on small displays. However, on larger displays, the board is very small compared to the other interface elements. Ironic for "a[n] ... interface, with focus on the board.", as was stated in the blog post.
