Under 1800 Lichess tournament.

Hello everybody, I was wondering if it is possible to play tournament for ratings lower than 1800. I have seen many good tournament under 1600 but never between this and the next tranche that is 200 for example. Could it be possible to create a Lichess official tournament for participants with points lower than 1800?

It is not that funny. Anyway if you are pleased that easyly it is no problem for me :) I believe you would agree a U1800 tounament is not a bade proposal.

I have no specific reasons to strongly dislike your suggestion, but I do dislike the fact that some scheduled tourneys, like some of the Daily variant (3-check, KOTH) ones, sometimes only have 10 to 15 players. That means waiting a lot because getting paired for a game. It gets even worse when several players withdraw after some time.
Getting even more scheduled tourneys for different ratings might cause more fragmentation.

I do like the fact that Daily blitz often has over 300 players, meaning fast pairing, and also fast chances to forget about an unfortunate loss or two.
