How to improv speed in Ultrabullet

Played some tournaments and the players there are so fast, almost inhuman speed.

How to improve the speed? I press premove as fast as i can, its impossible to do it faster, How do you guys do?

Any tip to improve the speed? Or is it a question about your internet connection?
When u play 1 min game u have to know where to play fast and where to slowdown a bit . In 15second game u cant really slow down u just gotta move very fast . Try making moves that force ur oponent to react ,that way they will have to spend more time. Also try predicting ur oponents moves and possible tactics.
1) Use premoves, that's gonna save you some time.
2)Play a lot of games, do not get discouraged if you lose many of them, eventually you'll get a sense for it.
3)A lot of tactics will make you better at recognizing patterns on the board quickly. Otherwise everything will be hanging.
4)If you get into a position where you're losing a piece no matter what, try to give it away with a check or something that forces your rival to lose a sec or two.
5) Do not waste a lot of time during the opening, prepare a system which is playable and holdable no matter the theoretical outcomes. (King's indian attacks, English openings, 1.b3).
6)In a position where you have to decide wether to go backwards or forward, go forward unless you're losing something. Activity is extremely important.
7)Do not be too concerned about a pawn or two.
8) Move your pieces to active squares.
9)Do not have a shitty internet as I do.
10)Move your king to a safe square as soon as possible, this is important in chess in general, but here you do not want to be constantly calculating tactics on your king. Get out of the center.
11)Be tricky.
12)Be really tricky.
13) If you have time advantages complicate.
14) If you're down in time simplify.
15)If you have material advantages simplify.
16)If you're down materially complicate.
17) When your flag and his are falling, (depends on the position). Give everything away with checks, that's gonna force him to make moves he wasn't prepare for and you might win for time.
-Wait, waaaaaaaaaaait, wait, Paaaaul, Paaaaaaul, Pauuuuuul, that's not morally correct, what about fair play, honor, love and kittens?
-Keep them for classical.
18) Be the guy acting, make the other guy react.
19) If everything is lost, strategically, materially, on time, throw all your pieces to his king and hope for the best.
Paulcarrero gave some great tips!

I'll add a little bit myself.

...
21) For getting faster at pre-moving, remember to grab the next piece after you have already pre-moved one. For example: I pre-moved 1.b3, I hold the Bishop in preparation to place it on 2. b2.

22) Try to remember where people often play their pieces out of the Opening in order to catch Pre-Movers. In the 21st example, people often play 1. ... e6 with 2. ...Ba3!! in order to win White's light-sqaured Bishop, Rook and Knight.

23) It may help doing lots and lots of 2-mate tactic puzzles as they often appear in 30 secs and 15 sec chess games. Helps to utilise them on instinct and prevent them against yourself.

24) Have a decent gaming mouse and get better at using it. There are sites like aim400kg that has helped my mouse-skills tremendously and play with high dpi comfortably.

25) Play at a DPI setting you feel most comfortable with where you are not making yourself rushed to move. I have noticed that at my highest DPI settings, it often hurts me than helps.

26) Music helps

27) Play against the Lichess' computer to build some patterns of the openings you play often.

28) In order to be really good in bullet, remember to play some longer games in order to build your understanding of Chess.

29) Know some common endgame situations by heart so that pre-moving them becomes an instinct. I have had games where I was able to play 60 moves in the last remaining second.

30) Try to predict opponents move. As hard as it maybe, people often try to check your King at the very last seconds of the game with rooks, queens and knights. If you can predict accurately and pre-move their capture, it steals their momentum.

31) If you think you have a Checkmate, go for it. Wait too long to calculate till its end and you'll lose on time.

32) Although situations may vary, if it's in the Endgame and you have nothing but a King: put on your sprinting shoes!

I'll post more should they come to mind.

Pardon my English.
Make "short" moves.

For example, I play 1. b3 followed by 2. Bb2, 3. d3, 4. Nd2, 5. e4, etc. as white in ultrabullet. Refrain from playing moves "longer" than 2 squares (moves that require you to drag your mouse more than 2 squares' length on the chessboard) in this time control to lessen the number of mouseslips you make, unless you have to. So next time, don't take that rook on e8 with yours. Instead, move another piece and premove Qxe1 :)

Hope you understand what I mean.
