What should I do if my email has already been taken up by my alt account that I closed?

Reopening it won't do anything; I will still have to associate my account with an email.

Then make a new email if your current email doesn't work - I don't think you can make it any other way but I don't know.

Even I'm thinking of that, but lichess said I'm under a 6-month ban, so I'll do it when the six months are over.

Well, best thing you can do is wait, yes - ban evasion only leads to IP bans.

No, I didn't. I got banned before I made that alt account, but then I closed that account because I didn't want it to get banned (and also for the reason mentioned above).

Generally saying not a wise idea to tell the Lichess public you're banned. ;)

Are you sure your current account is not banned as well? If you're under a six-month ban that includes this account. Would probably be best to check with lichess.org/appeal

You can see that I'm banned; I don't need to tell you, but I think mentioning the 6-month ban was a bad idea. And, yes, I did go to lichess.org/appeal, thats where i got to know about the 6-month ban.

Just make another email account
