Why Fischer Random sucks and

Please understand that Fischer was inspired to create this varient from the idea of Bronstein known as "pre Chess" or Placment Chess where the players take turns on the first 8 moves placing the pieces. I encourage the chess community to consider the advantages of Bronstein Chess over Fischer Random.

1. No need for randomization device (imagine trying to use a randomization device when teaching this game to a group of 5-6 year olds).

2. It keeps the personal style factor but get's around opening theory. How cool would it be to be able to pick your starting formation and have your own opening plans.
3. It is just better! Chess is about logical planning, not randomization. Do we really want to follow the suggestion of Fischer who obviously suffered from mental illness and turned his back on chess ? There are better ways to increase the scope of the game without resorting to randomization. Indeed the players could choose to still play the classical formation!

I think the benefit of Fischer random is that it simply makes learning any sort of theory practically impossible. This variant seems like it would instead greatly increase the framework for theory, but it would still be a small enough space to make it a critical part of the game. If this ends up being true, it would achieve quite the opposite of the goal of Fischer random.
Posted this years ago, not too much support.

1) There existed site "battle chess" which basically allowed players to choose their own setups before game. You free to move any pieces on your own half of board before game. But setups are hidden before game and you can see enemy setup only after start.

2) Another best type of chess is about new pieces. new moves, new everything and it's called "Chess evolved online". It had extreme deepness and truly unexpected results. Game for genus minds.

3) Third type of chess that was fantastic are multiplayer chess. Of course, it's bughouse, but there is other curious type - 4 sided chess. They all have great potential.

These are truly deep, interesting, fascinating ways to improve The Game experience, and it would be fantastic if they appear on lichess in some variations.
Imagine trying to insist to a 6 year old that the king needs to go between the rooks, or that the bishops need to go on opposite colours. Kids that age have a hard enough time understanding the rules of chess, let alone the subtleties of Fischer Random.

Frankly, you shouldn't play Fischer Random with kids; and if you do, you *should* use a randomization device, as it will make your life a good deal easier.
Observe chess960. The main goal in the opening is to „normalize“ the pieces - in order to play „regular“ chess. He?

Nuff said.
I just have to say that saying Fischer had mental illness, doesn't actually mean anything. Just because he had a mental illness, does not automatically mean that game is worse because of it. That point is completely irrelevant to the topic at hand.
Fischerrandom has been around for what 30 years now ? It has gained very little traction because it is has a disorienting and ugly feel to it. This is not just my opinion but the feeling of most strong players and the masses of online players. It is not that fun to play.

If one, just one of these damn servers were to implement the logical evolution to chess then you would see my point. Mark my words patzers.
This 'pre-chess' really sounds like a lot of fun! Perhaps it would even challenge traditional chess engines quite a bit, either way I do hope lichess is going to implement that in the near future.
´´´´,Do we really want to follow the suggestion of Fischer who obviously suffered from mental illness and turned his back on chess,

That is a fallacy. What does one thing has to do with the other
