Full on Blind Fold Chess experiance.

Hello,

Hopefully I can edit posts later. Had bit much to drink :P

Anyways, I was thinking for BF Chess instead of having a board empty and moving invisable pieces, it would be awesome to have no board and a simple space to type your moves. For example Nb1-c3 or simply Nc3. Of course the clock and everything else can remain pretty much the same.

Another idea I vaguely had is taking the big letters used for Cordinate game and implenting to the blindfold chess option. So when your openent makes a move, it will appear as Qe7+ and so on. With ofc still having somewhere to write your moves down.
Also a small thing that may be nice is if the person playing the "blind" person somehow gets informed that his opp has enabled that option.

Hopefully this is understandable. Thänks for this website.
Freindly Greetings from Finland.
This would be a nice option, but it requires that there be absolute agreement on the rules of algebraic notation, or it would have to be very flexible. Something silly like O-O vs 0-0 could trip someone up if it wasn't understood.

I definitely second a blindfold opponent indicator though.
Being able to see the board is fairly helpful, so not really "blindfold," IMO.

O-O vs. 0-0 doesn't seem like a big deal to someone basically familiar with algebraic notation. It's only a mistake you'd make once or twice before catching on.

I like this idea.
