Learn to accept draw

yesterday I played a 5 min game , and we arrived at a R vs R ending but I have 25 sec left and my opponent have about 2 min , however my opponent being a pathetic child refuses to accept draw and I lost . so what is your thought regarding this childish behavior ,,thanks
Time is a part of the game. And you lost.
...and your opponent was a 'pathetic child'? I don't hear him/hear complaining that they were being hassled to draw when they were clearly going to win on time :D
Agreeing to play a game without increment means you agree to have to play an arbitrary number of moves in a fixed amount of time, which includes endings that have to be played out to the 50-move ruled.

That has to be considered when playing, which means staying close to your opponent in time is very important in case a long endgame comes up.

That's just part of the risk of playing such time controls, and if your opponent wants to be rewarded for playing equal to you while managing time much better, then that's his choice.

If you don't like such things, which I fully understand, then just play with a small increment, maybe 3+1 or 3+2.

For a "normal" 50-60 move game, 3+1 and 3+2 will take about the same amount of time as a 5 minute game, but it mostly eliminates playing just for flagging.

I used to like the time scrambles at the end of no-increment games, but I'm getting old and prefer a small increment now to discourage such silliness. It sounds like that's what you need as well.

If you agree to play without an increment, what your opponent did is perfectly acceptable. It's annoying, sure, but perfectly fine.

Just pick a more suitable time control next time :)
Don't know what rating you and your opponent were, but at lower levels, there are many panicked blunders in a blitz game, especially when one player is near the end of his clock. Playing it out, hoping for a blunder, is also part these quick games.
@AlJaberi #1

It happened to me several times that opponents suddenly want to show their "premove skills" (cough) in K+R vs. K+R or even K+h pawn vs. K (in dead draw position).

It shows that gaining a few rating points or winning "at all costs" is very important for them.

In those cases I try to stay calm, and go forward to the next game.

From the positive side of view :
At least chess servers do auto-draw in case of K+B vs. K or K+N vs. K

It is not so hard to imagine that these "premove-wizards" with their expensive game compu mice would also like to win K+B vs. K on time :-)

So far I have resisted to use premove.
Since years I do not use premove myself. I want to focus on chess content.
In otb chess there's also no premove (and no takeback and adding more time).

You used way more time than your opponent to arrive at a drawn position, that is not your opponent's fault. Complaining about this is literally no different than complaining that he checkmated you when he had all his pieces and you had just your king. Winning on time is just as valid as winning by mating, in games where there is a time limit. You deservedly lost.
