Stockfish 14?

Hi,

When do we plan on implementing stockfish 14 to lichess?

@Konadios
I can read, thanks. But the question "When do we plan on implementing stockfish 14 to lichess?" isn't answered.

"for the time being, client-side analysis on Lichess will keep using Stockfish 13+ (or the strongest classical version ever, Stockfish 11+, aka SF_Classical, if NNUE is turned off or not available for your browser). In the future we may consider more advanced compression for network files, or specialized smaller networks for client-side analysis."
I think if there were any more concrete plans or a timeline it would be mentioned in the post. Lichess isn't a large organization that has a roadmap for the next 5 years. Things just happen when somebody does them and since it's open-source anybody can help.
#5 If we're being pedantic, please be careful how xyproblem.info/ questions are asked (the announcement explains how server-side analysis has Stockfish 14).
@Toadofsky
If pedantic is another way of saying correct I'll take it. Stockfish 14 has not yet made its way onto every aspect of this site in the way that Stockfish 13 did. I know you like your x/y thing and it's usually accurate but I'm puzzled as to how it applies here.
The point of the XY thing is that asking vague questions (or questions based on attempted solutions) leads to vague answers.

#1 asked "When do we plan on implementing stockfish 14 to lichess?"
To quote Lichess' post:

"Stockfish 14's new NNUE architecture brings even larger network files. So for the time being, client-side analysis on Lichess will keep using Stockfish 13+ (or the strongest classical version ever, Stockfish 11+, aka SF_Classical, if NNUE is turned off or not available for your browser). In the future we may consider more advanced compression for network files, or specialized smaller networks for client-side analysis."

This means, "We're NOT implementing it client side until we find a way to make it small and fast enough to run in browsers (if ever)."

That's the answer.

There is no ETA, and there is no way for them to know if they will ever be able to make it run efficiently in a browser.

For now, SF14 is serverside only. Client side is 13.
