OTB or Screen?

Which do you prefer playing?

OTB. Online is just missing so many things.

Online. OTB has quite a few things that I don't mind missing. ;)

i prefer both equally unless if 1 no increment or 2 anything lower than 5+3 then i prefer online

Online. I like how if you're in check, it tells you and doesn't let you make an illegal move, like in OTB.

OTB, mainly because you can talk to people in real person, everything is simply better. CHess becomes less about winning and more about socializing.

Definitely OTB. Online is something I do when I can't play OTB. Most likely it is simply an inertia thing: I grew up when online chess did not exist. I like the 3D board and pieces you have to actually move. I like chess clocks (especially mechanical ones, but those are unfortunately not used anymore). And I like the idea of being able to punch my opponent any moment. I've never done it, but I like having the option :-)

I already do so many things online that missing one of them is frankly a relief ;-)

OTB always! I just love the tactile feel of the pieces and interaction with my opponent face to face, though I don`t have much opportunities to play like that these days.

Don't need to bathe or wear pants online. Plus your opponents can't see the p%$#$%d off look on your face lol
