Since this move is in parentheses and is written as move 3, it's a reference to a move already played. He basically saying that white's 5th move is the logical followup to his 3rd move.
From what I understand ,the moves are e4 e5, f4 Nf6, fxe5 Nxe4, Nf3 preventing Qh4, Nc6, d3 chasing the Knight on e4 Nc5, d4 Ne4, d5
@AcabaComigo The second image is a board position *after* fxe5 (and a couple more moves). See how there's a white pawn on e5 in the second image? That white pawn got there from f4, by capturing. White played f2-f4 on move 2, then fxe5 on move 3.
