Introducing Maia, a human-like neural network chess engine

Looking forward to the research ahead with game analysis and insights. Kudos to the team.
Hippo opening: I can beat AIs. Hold my beer.
Maia: *holds it.
Hmmm....how long until people are using these engines to cheat? I would think this makes it harder to catch cheaters...
"This means that Maia could look at your games and tell you which blunders were predictable, and which were more random mistakes."

That is super exciting, it seems like an amazing learning tool!
Could potentially revolutionize chess teaching, especially at the lower levels (looking in the mirror while saying this).
Really cool stuff, but I'm afraid this will only make it harder to detect online cheaters.
